I am an openminded globetrotter with roots in Austria and Italy

I am a professional that´s been working for the last 5 years in the best swiss hotels in the 5*S class (Lausanne, Zermatt, Andermatt). I am speaking 5 languages and I graduated in economics and management. My kitchen style is highly influenced by the Italian, mediterranean cuisine as I used to live in Italy for 14 years and it is there where I gained the skills in preparing all kinds of pasta dishes, risotto and traditional Italian fish and meat dishes. A big influence is also given, on the one hand, by the Austrian cuisine as I am Austrian and, on the other hand, by the Swiss cuisine as I've been working there for years. They are paired with some slight Asian influences because of my travelling experiences.

The basis of it all is the ingredients. They have to always be fresh, seasonal, and of the highest quality.

Plating is also very important. Playing with colours and consistencies highlights every single ingredient which has to be perfect in itself too.

But clearly, the biggest importance is given to the taste. My dishes are tasty and consistent and always well balanced.

Friday night chef Markus Pössenberger from www.takeachef.com prepared an an excellent 4 course Italian meal for 4 people. He arrived at 3:30pm and began preparing the meal which was served at 1830 pm as requested. My guests arrived unexpectedly early and chef Markus prepared pita crackers with dip as an extra for us to munch on as we sipped wine and talked. The meal was delicious, it consisted of an appetizer of flamed antipasti and Italian cold cuts, a starter of homemade truffled ravioli with Gorgonzola sauce. The main course consisted of tender stripes of bison meat on white wine risotto... the dessert was a savory tiramisu. All the food was well balanced beautifully presented and mouthwatering. Everyone enjoyed the meal and chef Markus. He was extremely personable, took time to explain each service and answered all our questions concerning the various courses. He cleaned up all the dishes and pots and pans before he left at 9:30. Pm. It was my first time using take a chef it was an easy to navigate website I received two menu options within a few hours and selected chef Markus proposal. If you want an at home chef experience takeachef is an excellent choice. I cannot speak for their other chefs but I can garante that you will have a great evening if you choose Chef Markus. Markus was a great chef, excellent waiter, very fun to be with. We had a WONDERFUL evening, the food was EXCELLENT even if he had just a few kitchen items to work with, we were all very impressed !
