Get to know me better
I'm a Chef from Jerusalem that has been living and cooking at the Machne Yehudah Market for the last 10 years, for me this is where food begins.
I am a homegrown Chef from the outskirts of Jerusalem. My mom's kitchen is where I learned to shop for produce, cut, cook and most importantly Clean! Every Friday my siblings and I would charge in to the kitchen and make food and clean for the Sabbath, that's where it all started. Fast forward and at the age of 22 I started working for a small Italian restaurant in the Machne Yehudah Market. After a year and a half I felt it was time for me to step up and decided to go work for Assaf Granit in his restaurant "Machneyuda". There I have been working for the past 9 years, starting out as a line cook, followed by becoming a sous-chef to Assaf. Later on I had been in charge of his central catering kitchen, lastly for the past two years I have had the joy and privilege of being Head Chef of the Machneyuda restaurant. Now I am a Private Chef seeking to bring you the same joy and experience at your own home.

I first learned to cook in my mother's kitchen, professionally I learned in the Machneyuda restaurant kitchen where I have gained most of my knowledge
A role model in the kitchen is...
My role model would definitely have to be one of my previous chefs from whom I've gained the most technique and attitude towards the kitchen.
A cooking secret...
My secret would have to be that I feel very comfortable understanding what the customer in front of wants and loves.
