Chef Gabriel Ribeiro

I’m a professional chef with 10 years of experience working on the most diverse restaurants and hotels all over the world. I’ve started my journey on my home country Brazil. After a few months working on my first professional kitchen I’ve wanted to expand my knowledge and proceed to enroll in a course given by the acclaimed chef Allain Ducasse at Rio de Janeiro. By the end of that course I knew that what I truly wanted for my life was to travel the world learning about new cultures throughout its cuisines, then for the next 10 years I’ve proceed to work in some of the most interesting cities such as Rio de Janeiro, London, Lisbon, Milan, Aspen, Bangkok and Melbourne. Now I’m back to Portugal living in the most charming little village called Sobral da Lagoa, near Óbidos where I wish to develop a project with my family to spread the philosophy of a sustainable and holistic lifestyle that I came across throughout my travels and of course to cook amazing food for any enthusiasts.
