Food is my passion. I take great joy in discovering ingredients, blending spices, and tailoring flavors to set a mood, stir memories, or celebrate occasions.
My culinary journey started as a young boy growing up in Morocco. I'd walk with my grandfather through his small farm, picking onions, fava beans, peas and potatoes. I remember scooping the freshest eggs from the chicken coop in the early morning, before heading to the spice market for Moroccan spices to grind in our family's huge stone mortar and pestle. I'd help my grandmother and mother cook for our large family.My food journey continues as I am eager to feed more families and communities through my personal catering business. I love to teach - and learn- with every interaction that happens in the kitchen, over the stove, and around the table.
