I'm a professional chef that has been cooking for over six years. After being encouraged by my family and inspired by my passion for food and flavor, which is a part of my DNA from growing up in the South and having family ties in and around New Orleans, I left the Information Technology field of 19 years to start a mobile food business serving Cajun/Creole cuisine at local events that were being held on the Treasure Coast of Florida.
After several events, my reputation for high quality food led to catering personal events and obtained an Executive Chef position for a local restaurant in Port St. Lucie, FL. Now, I've brought River Cat Gourmet back as a personal chef service that provides personalized menu planning and in-home food preparation of healthy/delicious meals as well as intimate dinner parties.
