My experience was outstanding . We hired the chef to cook us breakfast, and we were all very pleased . From the preparation, the actual food , cleanup and professionalism it was a great experience 10/10 highly recommend!!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our private chef! From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, thoughtful, and attentive. Every dish was delicious, but the truffle pumpkin soup was truly unforgettable and easily one of the highlights of the trip. What impressed us just as much as the food was how seamlessly they worked. They were organized, respectful, and incredibly clean, and they always left the kitchen better than they found it, which made the whole experience feel completely effortless for us. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an elevated, restaurant-quality dining experience in the comfort of their own home. Five stars all around!

We had an incredible experience with Chef Luis from I-Cook Aruba! From the very beginning, he was so easy to work with—professional, kind, and incredibly responsive. Booking, communication, and every detail leading up to our dinner was seamless. One thing we truly appreciated was how attentive he was to our vegetarian dietary needs. He thoughtfully planned a menu that didn't feel like an afterthought, and every dish was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. Everything was perfectly orchestrated from start to finish. Not only was the food outstanding, but Chef Luis and his team were also wonderful company and made the entire evening feel warm, relaxed, and special. And I have to mention the butternut squash pumpkin soup—it was pure heaven in a cup. I'm still thinking about it! If you're considering a private chef experience in Aruba, I cannot recommend Chef Luis and I-Cook Aruba highly enough. It was one of the highlights of our trip, and we would book them again in a heartbeat.

Chef Luis and his crew were absolutely amazing! They catered for our group over three days, providing a total of five meals, and every single one was delicious, creative, filling, and packed with flavor. Using Take a Chef gave us peace of mind knowing the experience was legitimate and secure. Chef Luis prepared buffet-style meals for our group, handled all of the setup and cleanup, and made the entire process effortless. He also provided a grocery budget range ahead of time, and we simply reimbursed him for the expenses. If you're planning a trip to Aruba, I highly recommend booking Chef Luis. The food, professionalism, and overall experience exceeded our expectations. He definitely did not disappoint. 10 out of 10 — highly recommend!

We had an incredible meal with Chef Luis, very well prepared and accommodating for both adults and children and food allergies. We have had chef experiences in various countries and this is at the top of the list. Would recommend without hesitation!

Chef Luis Albarran Maizo and his team were amazing! They made an amazing Tex-Mex dinner for us to kick off our friends' joint bachelor and bachelorette weekend! The spicy black bean tacos were a huge hit! And the leftover enchiladas came in handy throughout our weekend. We were also able to add a margarita station to our dinner, and Chef Aaron made some delicious margaritas! They also cleaned everything before they left for the night - we just had to sit back, drink our margaritas, and enjoy the food and each other's company!

Chef Luis and his Sous Chef Janet were so amazing and fun. Luis was an incredible chef and the food was beyond delicious. I had to eat slower to savour it. My friends and I had a great time and it was an unforgettable birthday for me. Highly highly recommend.

chef Luis gave us an incredible dinner during our trip to Aruba for a bachelorette party! he accommodated our request to eat dinner outside, decently far from the kitchen. best pumpkin soup ever! hope to book him again some day

The entire experience was amazing. Chef Luis took care of everything from a personal bartender to a decorator. I didn’t have to worry about a thing and enjoyed our night with the family. The five-course meal included caprese salad, Caesar salad, an absolutely phenomenal original pumpkin bisque, along with a main steak and shrimp meal. He also were served dessert. All portions were generous, the ambiance and decorations were breathtaking, and he created a meal we certainly won’t forget.

Luis, his staff, and his food was all beyond amazing. I would love to hire him on every trip that I take around the world. The food was delightful. His demeanor was kind and humble. His souchefs were amazing. The food was to die for!!! 10 out of 5 stars easy!!

Chef Luis was phenomenal! He was able to navigate the many dietary restrictions of our large group. The food was easily the best meal we had in Aruba!! The plating/utensils and overall presentation was gorgeous! Do yourself a favor and hire Chef Luis for more than one meal while in Aruba!

Luis was awesome! He was very accommodating for my family with several food allergies. He went out of his way to make the meals allergy friendly and delicious. He made our vacation so easy. He fed my teenage boys, who eat lots of food. He was easy to work with and had great menu options to choose from.
