My name is Svetlin Velinov, and I am a professional chef with many years of hands-on experience in professional kitchens and international working environments.

My experience as a chef working on a ship has provided me with valuable international experience and taught me how to perform consistently under pressure. Working in a constantly changing environment requires flexibility, responsibility, strong organization, and the ability to maintain high standards even during demanding service periods.

I have a strong passion for modern cuisine, recipe development, and creating desserts and culinary products with a professional presentation and distinctive character. I enjoy experimenting with ingredients, techniques, and flavour combinations while always respecting the fundamentals of good cooking: quality ingredients, proper technique, organization, consistency, and precision.

A particularly important part of my culinary identity is Bulgarian cuisine and the culinary traditions of the Kyustendil region. I believe traditional recipes can be presented in a modern and professional way while preserving their authentic character and original flavours.

My culinary interests cover both traditional and contemporary dishes, as well as desserts, pastry development, and original culinary concepts. I am also interested in creating my own culinary products, recipes, and content connected with professional cooking.
