My journey into the culinary world began at the age of 16, when I started working in a hotel restaurant. It was there that I discovered my passion for food, hospitality, and the fast-paced energy of a professional kitchen. Those early experiences laid the foundation for my work ethic and commitment to quality.

In 2018, I joined the Irish Naval Service, where I further developed both my discipline and culinary skills. As part of my training, I attended Munster Technological University, where I formally trained as a chef. This unique combination of hands-on kitchen experience and structured culinary education allowed me to refine my techniques and broaden my understanding of food.

My cooking style is shaped by both traditional influences and the precision required in a naval environment, with a strong focus on consistency, teamwork, and delivering high standards under pressure. I take pride in creating dishes that are both thoughtful and well-executed, always aiming to bring out the best in every ingredient.
