A modern New Zealand chef creating bespoke dining experiences with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and genuine hospitality.

Private Chef | Whakatāne & Bay of Plenty

I provide bespoke private dining experiences for residents, holiday homeowners, and visitors throughout Whakatāne and the surrounding Bay of Plenty, with availability to travel to the Coromandel by arrangement.

My cooking is centred around exceptional ingredients, seasonal produce, and thoughtfully crafted menus that celebrate the best of our local growers, fishers, and artisan producers. Whether it's an intimate dinner, a family gathering, or a special celebration, I create relaxed yet refined dining experiences that allow guests to enjoy restaurant-quality food in the comfort of their own home or holiday accommodation.

Originally from the Coromandel and now based in Whakatāne, I have built my career around a genuine passion for food and hospitality. My professional experience includes working as Sous Chef at one of the region's well-regarded restaurants, alongside head chef in the stunning Coromandel along with many years of cooking in professional kitchens. During that time I have led kitchen teams, developed seasonal menu items, catered for large functions and events, and delivered consistently high standards of food and service.

Every menu is designed specifically for the occasion, taking into account your preferences, dietary requirements, and the finest seasonal ingredients available. My style is modern, approachable, and ingredient-driven, with an emphasis on fresh seafood, quality meats, vibrant produce, and flavours that reflect New Zealand's diverse culinary landscape.
