I'm a chef from Argentina with 25 years of experience. From upmarket cafes and restaurants in Auckland to weddings and private functions. I've done it all. Always in a good mood and keen to make everyone laugh.

I have recently relocated to Papamoa and I'm keen to put on a show and entertain people in the Bay of Plenty.

Chef Emanuel did an amazing job. He was prompt, helpful and professional from the outset, and supplied a choice of interesting delicious menus. He was very accommodating to our special needs and went out of his way to make the event special. He communicated effectively before the event, turned up promptly on the day, did a superb job, charmed my guests, and left the kitchen immaculate. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone.

An amazing, friendly man and was very engaging from the time he came into our home. He even brought us a bottle of red as a compliment for our celebration of our anniversary. Amazing food with every taste that felt like a party in our mouth with each bite.

I had a private long lunch with canapés and 4 courses for 18 guests at my home, Emmanuel and his team were very professional, they arrived prepared and prompt. The food was exceptional, food presentation was on point, service was amazing. Very courteous staff, Emmanuel was easy to communicate with, replied promptly to my messsges and was so very helpful to make my celebration very special. The team left my kitchen clean and tidy , I would highly recommend Emmanuel

This was an amazing night with all of our guests blown away with the quality of the food. The entire process was so easy and we will certainly use Emanuel again in the future

Emanuel was awesome. His food was amazing. We ate like Kings and Queens, and still there was more food. He arrived when he said he would, prepared some amazing dishes and left a perfectly spotless kitchen ????We all had a fabulous time

This was our first private chef experience and we loved it! It meant a much more relaxed event which was perfect for a big group and young children. The food was divine! Only issue was there was so much of it we were all so full! Delicious. Highly recommend Emanuel and Take a Chef process. We were able to chat in detail about our wants and his suggestions were always on the money.

Emmanuel was fantastic from the moment we began interacting, he was considerate of my pregnant wife’s needs during the menu selection process as well as when delivering the food to the table. Emmanuel has a wonderful table manor and delivers excellence in every dish. I cannot recommend Emmanuel enough, he made a wonderful week even more special! Thanks Emmanuel!!!

Emmanuel was an absolute superstar, communication was amazing, food was Devine, he provided such a comfortable atmosphere where we could relax and knew everything was being taken care of! It was the perfect treat for us Mums having a weekend away, we were actually brought to tears being able to experience someone cooking for us and not us cooking for someone and it being absolutely amazing I could not recommend enough will definitely reach out to Emmanuel if we are ever in Tauranga again!
