Get to know me better
an enthusiastic, hard working, and passionate chef
I am a professionally trained chef with 12 years experience in the culinary industry. I learned to cook at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, Piper's Heath Golf Course, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, and George Brown College. I began my journey as a young apprentice in Canada and worked my way up and around many different types of kitchens. From working in casual restaurants and pubs, to golf courses and luxury lodges, to ski resorts and food trucks, I have been able to gather a diverse amount of experience and knowledge.
My love for the industry and my passion for food continues to grow as I travel. Starting off my training with classical French cuisine, it has now expanded to a range of different ethnicities including: Italian, German, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Jamaican, Mexican, Spanish, American, Indian, and most recently, New Zealand.
I've also extended my dishes to be able to cater for many different types of dietary needs including: gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, paleo, dairy-free, and allergy-friendly.
When choosing ingredients I always ensure to pick the best quality seasonal ingredients that are locally sourced. And when I'm not too busy in the kitchen I love growing my own herbs, vegetables, and fruits to cook with.
