Chef Camilla Ribas

Born and bred in São Paulo, I made Berlin my home in 2008, bringing with me a creative spirit honed through years as a film producer. My journey took an unexpected but fulfilling turn when I discovered my true passion: creating flavorful plant-based cuisine.

In 2016, I opened Milla's Place in Prenzlauer Berg, which started as a Kindercafé and naturally evolved into an almost 100% plant-based café. By day, we serve fresh, creative dishes, and on Thursday and Friday evenings, the space transforms into an intimate dining venue offering 3-course plant-based dinners. On weekends, the versatile space hosts various events, from private gatherings to workshops.

My approach to cooking is driven by flavor exploration and creative combinations of ingredients. I believe in letting the natural tastes of plant-based ingredients shine while creating dishes that are both exciting and satisfying. Currently pursuing certification as a vegan nutritionist, I'm constantly learning and expanding my culinary horizons.

Whether I'm developing new café offerings, hosting evening dining experiences, or catering events, my goal remains consistent: to create memorable culinary experiences that showcase how delicious plant-based food can be. At Milla's Place, every dish reflects my journey of continuous exploration and innovation in the kitchen.
