Giovane was an excellent chef!! He was always on time and communicated everything effectively from start to finish! The food was always delicious and he followed the menu plan just as we had it planned! We highly reccomend him if you are in need of a chef in Rio!! Ramiro Curual's food was beyond expectation. They arrived on time and were very professional. The food tasted excellent, and the presentation made the evening feel very elevated. I booked them for a friend's birthday dinner while on a trip, and they created the perfect celebratory ambiance. We were all so pleased with the meal. I especially appreciate that they accommodated one plant-based menu for a vegan guest, and it was also delicious. Highly recommend.

Chef Luis and his Sous Chef Janet were so amazing and fun. Luis was an incredible chef and the food was beyond delicious. I had to eat slower to savour it. My friends and I had a great time and it was an unforgettable birthday for me. Highly highly recommend.

My wife and I usually celebrate our birthday going out for dinner every year, but this time we wanted to do something different and decided to try a private chef experience through Take a Chef. The entire process was very easy — from sending a request to reviewing menus and following up with the chef. We have specific dietary restrictions (we are vegetarian with no eggs, no meat, and no fish), and this was handled exceptionally well. Chef Oran was absolutely fantastic — punctual, professional, and very attentive to our preferences. The food was incredible from start to finish, full of flavor, beautifully presented, and never felt limited despite our restrictions. This experience felt on par with, or even better than, some of the restaurants we regularly visit, while being far more personal and memorable. It truly made our celebration special. Highly recommend both Take a Chef and Chef Oran!

Evan was super accomodating and made sure our girls dinner could be relaxing so that we could focus on catching up.

Dino and Sara were amazing. They made a special occasion even more special through their carefully planned meal. They arrived early, were the ultimate professionals and left our kitchen spotless upon completion of dinner service. The meal description in both English and French was a nice touch. If you are looking for a great chef and experience, Dino should be your choice.

We hired Chef Su for a special at home birthday celebration. We asked for fusion of Asian and European dishes, and she delivered over four courses. We appreciated the variety and pace, and the cooking was exquisite. We were appreciative that she was flexible with changes in timing of service, which was possible by staying in touch throughout the lead up and day of the event. Would recommend hiring Chef Su!
