I was born and raised right here in Dubrovnik. In my past years, I have traveled extensively to the most exotic places, always seeking to perfect my cuisine. My curiosity for food dates back to when I was a child and at a very early age dreamed of becoming a chef. It was the scent of different dishes that drew me to the pots. In my professional career, I have been a private yacht chef for five years, worked in restaurants all around Dubrovnik, until finally opening up my private chef business.

My favorite cuisine is Thai but my cooking skills are best honored in Mediterranean and Croatian cuisine.

We had such an amazing experience with Chef Dario! The food was absolutely delicious—every single meal felt like a treat. He was not only incredibly talented in the kitchen, but also so friendly, kind, punctual, and easy to talk to. Chef Dario prepared both breakfasts and dinners for our group, and he worked everything perfectly around our schedule, which made our trip even more enjoyable and stress-free. Honestly, we all wished we could have brought him home with us! I can’t say enough good things about Chef Dario. If you’re considering booking him—just do it. You will not regret it!

We had the pleasure of hiring Chef Dario to prepare a traditional Croatian meal at our villa, and it was such a memorable experience. Communication on the day of was clear, and while the meal was served a little later than expected, it was absolutely worth the wait. The food presentation was beautiful, the portions were perfect, and everything was incredibly delicious - both kids and adults loved it. The dishes felt authentic and gave us a true taste of Croatian cuisine. Dario also left the kitchen spotless and even took all of his garbage. Overall, Dario provided a wonderful experience and we’d highly recommend him to anyone looking to enjoy a special, traditional meal in Croatia.

Dario was absolutely amazing. We travel a ton and have had many chefs for dinner parties, but he was truly the best we have ever had. There was variety in the menu that suited everyone, the food was fresh, delicious and had beautiful presentation. If you’re looking for a chef… look no further. You will not be disappointed! Dario and his team were absolutely fantastic! We booked for our family of 7 adults to celebrate a milestone birthday. All food preferences were catered for with no issue. The communication in booking was also great. The food looked and tasted amazing, and we were really happy with the choice of local dishes. The kitchen was left cleaner than it started. Dario’s dinner was one of our favorite nights of our entire trip. Everything was absolutely delicious, the table setting was beautiful, he paced the meal well, and was very considerate of the kitchen and home. Everything was left clean. Would absolutely book with him again!

Chef Dario was amazing. The food he prepared was the tastiest I have had in a long time and I am picky so that is saying a lot. He even accommodated my food allergies with ease. The portion sizes were also very generous and we got to spend some time in the kitchen with him as well. You will not regret booking this experience. We felt like kings and queens being wined and dined and you will too.

Dario (and his waiter also Dario) were an absolute pleasure and made our last night in Dubrovnik so special for our bride to be! We booked for 8 guests for a hen do and we could completely relax whilst they took care of everything and they were so friendly and polite! The food was delicious, gorgeously presented and they were able to cater to an array of dietary requirements (veggie, coeliac, dairy free) at very short notice! They cleaned up exceptionally well! Five star! I would definitely reserve again and hopefully experience the BBQ fish next time
