Peace and Love is what I have for this Craft.

15 years culinary experience and a lifetime of international culture, flavors and taste is how i would see myself now. I am an advocate of Melting Pot Cuisine and Quality Comfort Dining.

I am a Swiss National of Filipino descent, having my childhood to my teenage years in Singapore, and my college and pre-cheffing life living to and from the mega-capital city of Manila and the tropical Visayan Islands in the Philippines.

My culinary journey has seen me start through 5 Star Hotels and French-Filipino Fine Dining resaturants before I completed my Culinary Degree at the American Hospitality Academy Philippines.

From there, two Ritz Carlton Hotels (Naples Beach Resort in Florida USA, and Powerscourt Hotel in Enniskerry Ireland) where my next big achievements followed by successful stints in various restaurants and gastro-pubs in Dublin, Ireland with my last Positions being Head Chef.

Returning back to the Philippines, I achieved Head Chef position with the highly popular Picasso Boutique Service Residences in the posh Salcedo Village, Makati City and as an Executive Chef Consultant in the opening of a Gastro-pub themed restaurant and bar at the Bonifacio Global City.

In Hungary I have worked in various hotels and dining establishments in Békéscsaba, and have experience a summer season at Lake Balaton in Fonyód.

One highlight would be as Executive Chef of a new Wedding and Events Company in Budapest, I was part of a successful summer wedding reception and dinner at the Vajda-Hunyad Castle.

Currently as an entrepreneur I am operating Maki Mike HU, a fusion maki sushi takeaway in Békéscsaba.
