Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to apply for the position of Chef de Partie. With over 8 years of hands-on experience in fast-paced hotel and restaurant kitchens, I bring strong expertise in Continental and Italian cuisine, combined with a deep commitment to food quality, hygiene, and operational excellence.

I am a passionate, adaptable, and conscientious chef with a proven ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards of presentation, consistency, and food safety. My experience includes planning and executing Continental and Italian menus in line with hotel standards, managing a designated kitchen section across à la carte restaurants, in-room dining, and banquet operations, and ensuring smooth daily service through effective shift management and staff coordination.

In my previous roles, I have consistently maintained strict compliance with HACCP, hygiene regulations, and internal audit requirements, while ensuring excellent food quality, portion control, and cost management. I am well-versed in inventory control, stock rotation, ordering procedures, and maintaining temperature and hygiene records. I also take pride in training, supervising, and motivating commis chefs and trainees in accordance with SOPs and company policies.

I have successfully completed 12 months of Hotel Operational Training (Hot Kitchen) with the Sayaji Group of Hotels and hold a Spirit of Hospitality certification from the Fern Group of Hotels, which has further strengthened my professional approach and customer-focused mindset.

In addition ensuring full readiness to meet the required technical, hygiene, and operational standards. I am committed to complying with all regulatory and professional requirements and am fully prepared to attend the Skill Pass assessment as required.
