David and his assistant delivered an exemplary service. Far beyond what we had imagined especially as first time users. The food was genuinely incredible. He even managed to convert someone who "hates" seafood to eat a whole plate of it, it was so delicious. He was entertaining, funny but also able to read the room and give me and my guests space to just enjoy the atmosphere. Highly recommended and genuinely trying to find another occasion to have him back again. Thank you for your time and effort!

Ivan was incredible start to finish. Even bringing some of his homemade drinks for us to enjoy and telling us where the fish was caught and when. Really great experience that I highly recommend. A great to end our holiday. The kitchen was cleaner than the day we arrived. Very professional.

Our family hired Chef Nathaniel to help us celebrate a birthday, and he prepared an amazing meal for us! He was accommodating of our dietary needs and easy to work with throughout the entire experience. The menu offered a great variety (we went with Italian food) and every dish had good flavours with generous portions that were larger than what you’d get in a restaurant. Nathaniel was kind, soft-spoken, and professional, and he left the kitchen exceptionally clean. The experience was really seamless and fun and we’d absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience!

Fue nuestra experiencia con Alejandro en Take A Chef y repetiremos sin dudarlo! Organizó un menú siguiendo todas nuestras recomendaciones y fue muy fácil montar una cena de celebración con amigas con él. Los platos estban muy bien elaborados y destacaba el producto de primera calidad. Lo que más nos gustó fue el falso "steak" tarter de tomate y el solomillo de cerdo a baja tempoeratura. Durante la cena estuvimos muy a gusto con él y quedó todo muy limpio.

Andrew was PHENOMENAL! He was so wonderful to work with as we had a few different allergies/preferences to navigate plus a lot of kids who really weren't going to eat quite like the adults. He easily understood the vibe for our evening and met it above and beyond our expectations. We were able to sit back, relax, and enjoy a perfect evening of catching up with dear friends half way around the world while Andrew took care of everything. By the end of the evening, I'd say he was basically part of our friend group! I highly recommend Andrew, and the Take a Chef service was so easy to work through to find him!

We book Shaun for weekly meal prep, and he has been wonderful from the very first session. The food is genuinely delicious. Each week he prepares a soup, a main, a salad and a dessert, and he rotates the dishes according to the season and what we've been enjoying, so it never gets repetitive. He sends a shopping list in advance, we tell him what we're missing, and he does the grocery shopping himself — always choosing quality ingredients, exactly the kind we would have picked ourselves. He leaves us a few fresh portions and freezes the rest, which we really appreciate. It means we eat well all week with no effort on our side. Beyond the cooking, he is thoughtful in ways we didn't expect. He keeps an eye on small things like baking paper and either reminds us or simply picks them up before they run out. We have a baby at home, and he takes the initiative and figures everything out on his own without ever needing to interrupt us — that has been a real relief. He is kind, approachable and very easy to have in the house. And he leaves the kitchen absolutely spotless. You would never guess anyone had cooked at all. We recommend him wholeheartedly.
