Chef David has worked over a decade across established restaurants globally – Burnt Ends and Pollen in Singapore, Le Bernardin in New York City and Benu in San Francisco. Chef David moved to Hong Kong in 2016, headhunted to be the Sous Chef of the now 3-Michelin Star Restaurant Ta Vie, before returning to Singapore in 2018 to open Cloud Nine Private Dining.

it’s our first take on a private chef experience at home and gladly so. Chef David has been nothing but a charm in the whole experience. Thank you for making an amazing meal on our my wedding day. ps: a side note too to thank your assistant! I really appreciate how careful he is with my kitchen tools esp with my precious Gessi kitchen faucet as space was a luxury at my sink area. It’s the small details that does matters in the whole experience too!

Chef Daniel, his partner Pei Yee (apologies if i misspelled your name) and total crew were amazing! From the initial communication, set up, menu - fantastic experience. Took the edge and stress out of preparing everything and for once I actually got to sit and enjoy with everyone. The quality of the food was fantastic. My fussy guests (teenagers and young kids) finished everything and raved over the beef and risotto while my adult guests could not get enough of the pistachio butter (home made), French onion soup and beef served with asparagus. It was the best. Thank you Chef David! We had a fab night and I am sure this will be one of many! Cannot recommend him highly enough. Won’t regret it!!

We loved the experience with Chef David. He was very responsive beforehand, asking questions about our wishes and tailor-make a menu for us.
