The food was excellent as was the presentation. Any special requests were met with instant agreement.

Everything else was very good, but we would have liked to get the menu in advance so that we could have bought the right wines.

Brilliant experience! He arranged a dinner of high level, fixed everything and had relaxed nice attitude. Top class!

We had a wonderful evening with Stipe at our villa in Kaštel Novi. He prepared a multi course delicious meal with a wine pairing for our group of 7. The food was fresh and interesting, and went perfectly with the wines he chose. Highly recommended!

Chef Stipe was amazing. Everything was wonderful, it was our 40th wedding anniversary and we celebrated it with our daughter,son-in-law and our 7 year old granddaughter and every one of us enjoyed the food and how it was presented. Thanks to you both xx

Andrew was PHENOMENAL! He was so wonderful to work with as we had a few different allergies/preferences to navigate plus a lot of kids who really weren't going to eat quite like the adults. He easily understood the vibe for our evening and met it above and beyond our expectations. We were able to sit back, relax, and enjoy a perfect evening of catching up with dear friends half way around the world while Andrew took care of everything. By the end of the evening, I'd say he was basically part of our friend group! I highly recommend Andrew, and the Take a Chef service was so easy to work through to find him!

Chef Stipe is absolutely incredible! He is so talented, and every dish was delicious and beautifully prepared. We booked him for a family dinner during our vacation, and it ended up being our favorite evening of the entire trip. The food was the best we had all vacation, and he even left the kitchen cleaner than he found it. I can't recommend Chef Stipe highly enough - an amazing experience from start to finish. Absolutely perfect!

We booked a private chef for my dad’s 60th birthday celebration at our villa in Croatia, and it was genuinely one of the highlights of the entire trip. Andre prepared an incredible four-course meal for our group of seven, and from the moment he arrived until the moment he left, he took care of absolutely everything. He was warm, welcoming, professional, and brought a great sense of humour to the evening, making the whole experience feel relaxed and special. The food itself was outstanding. The quality, presentation, and attention to detail were exceptional, and every course exceeded our expectations. The fig jam was unforgettable, and the steaks were some of the best we have ever eaten. Every dish looked beautiful and tasted even better. The portions were also incredibly generous. There was more than enough food for everyone, and we still had plenty left to enjoy the next day. In terms of value for money, this experience was second to none. The quality of the food, the service, and the overall experience far exceeded what we expected. If you’re considering hiring a private chef while in Croatia, I cannot recommend Andre highly enough. A truly 10/10 experience and a memory our family will be talking about for years to come. Thank you for helping make my dad’s 60th birthday so special.

Food was fantastic and plenty of it all cooked to perfection. Every dish was explained to us and the kitchen was left spotless. Great experience would definitely do it again.

Andrija J was masterful and attentive, creating a special dinner for our last night in Croatia...delicious meal, filled with stories about the local cuisine and people.  His recommended wine pairings were an outstanding addition.  Friendly and engaging, we had a wonderful meal and discussion about family life in Croatia, discovering many of shared interests across sports, food, traveling, etc.  Highly recommend the experience he crafted for us.

Chef Stipe cooked dinner for my friends and I during my bridal celebration in Croatia. We had the best of croatian dishes - snacks, starters, mains and desert!
