Hi, I am Santosh Hegde. I am a techie turned chef, specialising in Italian, Mediterranean and Modern Indian cuisine. I come with 9 years of experience with training at Taj Bangalore under Celebrity Chef Selvaraju. I'm passionate about using traditional methods of cooking with specially sourced ingredients to present the finest quality authentic food. Food I specialise in are fresh Hand made pasta, Chicken Roulade, Char-grilled Lamb rack with homemade jus and revamping a wide range of Classic Indian dishes in a whimsical array of textures and flavours.

Chef Santosh and Chef Arpita made an important life event very memorable for us. They were professional, warm and cooked up a great authentic Italian meal for our family. Chef Santosh explained the menu choices well and gave customization options. He listened well to my requirements and customized the menu as needed.
On the day, he showed up well in advance, well prepared. He even involved interested family members in the process and shared his experience about Italian cooking with us. The first course was ready dot on time.
The minestrone soup and warm breads were a perfect start to the evening. The soup was delicately balanced and yet rich in flavor. Among the starters, kids wanted the arancini risotto balls to be more cheesy, although the adults found them perfect, golden fried and crispy on the outside and soft and savory on the inside. The stuffed aubergines delia was the novelty on the menu for us and it pleasantly surprised. Baked to perfection, the rolls were very delicious. Then the Main course of Ravioli, Triangoli and Lasagna was next. The spinach and cheese ravioli was served with a delicate white sauce and sage butter, while the triangoli was with arrabiata sauce. The ravioli was just perfect and hero of the day. The kids loved it and gobbled it up in no time. The triangoli was served on arrabiata sauce which proved a good compliment to the ravioli. The lasagna is a tough dish to do in the vegetarian form, but Chef Santosh managed to please us all with his creation. The veg filling he made tasted great with the cheesy pasta of the lasagna, again baked to perfection.
Last but not the least, the Tiramisu. It is our favorite dessert and we have tasted it around the world. Chef Arpita's Tiramisu was hands down the best one I have had in India, and one of the best I have had anywhere.
Overall we enjoyed the evening and the whole experience and will highly recommend Chef Santosh and Chef Arpita.
