Chef At Home in Thane
I began my culinary journey in 2016, starting my career at The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) through the Hotelier Development Programme, an exclusive 2-year initiative of the Taj Group of Hotels. This program provided me with hands-on experience across 56 different roles in the hotel industry, including exposure to prestigious kitchens such as the Orient Express, the only modern European restaurant within Taj Hotels at the time. I later moved to the Taj Rambagh Palace, where she was responsible for Steam, a European cuisine-centric lounge.
My early experiences shaped my culinary expertise and vision, eventually leading to the creation of The Burrow, which offered a unique, all-day dining concept with a focus on pre-plated, single-portion dishes. I also launched a delivery kitchen called Pataaka on Your Plate during the COVID-19 pandemic, which specializes in homemade, artisan DIY meals, later expanding into gourmet hampers. Currently building Thane’s first experiential sauce brand, Pop Bistro, my skill in crafting in-house sauces and dips is a standout feature in all of my ventures.
