I am a 37 yr old New Zealand born chef with around 18 years experience in fine dinning restaurants & luxury super yachts.
I love to cook regional specialties from all countries of the world and I especially like to create a spread of sharing dishes where everyone on the table can be catered for.
Though I am an all-rounder and my repertoire is vast, Thai and Italian would be my two favourite cuisines.
I like to make everything from scratch including rustic french and Italian sourdough style breads, Thai curry pastes, fresh pasta, fermented products and foraged wild foods.
PLEASE: Due to the way Take A Chef site works, I can not communicate with you until you have approved a menu proposal and payed the deposit. So, In your request, please provide details about what style of food you would like. My repertoire is vast so it helps if you give me a starting point. Include whether you would like sharing plates or individually plated dishes. Do you like seafood, shellfish? Specific meats? Game? melting slow cooked? or Steak? Do you prefer Rustic or Fine dinning? Traditional/classic flavours or cutting edge molecular gastronomy? Who are your guests and what do they like? What is the occasion?
The more specifics you include the greater I can tailor a menu to impress.
