I create unforgettable private dining and event experiences using professional technique, global experience, and passion for bringing people together.
I started my culinary journey at the School of Catering in the South African Army, where I learned discipline, consistency and respect for ingredients under pressure.
After leaving the military environment, I worked in various restaurants before moving into private catering and events. I officially started charging for my services in 2000 at a private farewell event for François Pienaar in Hampstead, London. That event opened the door to private clients and word-of-mouth referrals across London and the surrounding areas.
Since then, I have catered sit-down dinners, canapé receptions, weddings and large spit-roast events for private clients, corporate groups and high-profile individuals who value discretion and quality.
One of the defining moments in my career was catering for a South African Embassy event in Paris in 2006 — 800 guests, fully South African themed. Almost everything had to be transported from England. I still remember trying to source fresh cream in Paris and eventually having to work with UHT cream — a reminder that problem-solving is as important as cooking skill.
Today, I focus on creating tailored dining experiences that feel personal, polished and effortless for the client.
