Trent provided an amazing service for our catered dinner. He was very personable, flexible in catering for children, and served us a delicious meal that was restaurant quality. Trent left our kitchen spotless! I would recommend Trent to others and now need to find another excuse for a catered dinner party :)

Chef Omar was very good. He was accommodating to people with dietary restrictions. He had large portions with very good flavours.

Fabulous Feasts was amazing. Both our chef Cedric and hostess/server/bartender Jolee were just wonderful. They went above and beyond to exceed our expectations the whole week. All ages of our multigenerational family were thrilled.

What a lovely dinner. Chef Mpumelelo and his team arrived well in advance and everything was beautifully organised. The crusted Hawaiian chicken as the appetizer was delicious, followed by the scallops with risotto as a wonderful starter. The surf and turf and chocolate volcano that followed were equally impressive. The ingredients were clearly top quality and everything was prepared fresh on site. The team was friendly and attentive, and they truly made our birthday celebration memorable.

Rodrigo was great. He showed up on time, was respectful, and the food was amazing. Everything about the experience was perfect. I would highly recommend.

Chef Jerry made us a delicious dinner that consisted of a caviar serving, short rib purses, tuna tacos, filet and roasted pears. Chef left the kitchen very clean.

Chef Alister was amazing. He was always on time and the meal was always on time too. Most importantly, the meals were delicious. This was the first time I had hired a chef for a family vacation. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with the entire family. Six adults and two toddlers. Everyone loved his food and the service. Nine days of breakfasts and dinners. Chef and his assistant set up the table, invited us to the table, served the courses, cleaned-up the table, loaded the dishwasher and left the kitchen spotless after dinner. If we ever go back to the Virgin Islands as a family, I will definitely book him again.

An enquiry through Take a Chef led us to a proposal from Sam Billson. The variety offered in the menu was excellent, and Sam’s communication while discussing our requirements beforehand was superb. On the day of the event, Sam’s communication was also spot-on. He arrived exactly at the time he said he would, and his food preparation and service were excellent. The food itself was outstanding. At the end of the evening, Sam cleaned up and left the kitchen exactly as he found it. I would thoroughly recommend Sam as your chef, as well as the service offered by Take a Chef in helping to find the right person for our event.

We recently hired Chef Sean for a 12-person dinner party, and the experience was flawless from start to finish. He prepared a spectacular 4-course meal where every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the food!
