I am a professional chef with fifteen years of experience in the culinary world. I was born raised in Italy where I studied at the school of hospitality in Torino/Turin. After five years of culinary school, I moved to Parma, Italy to study at the International School of Cuisine-ALMA, a culinary school directed by the great Gualtiero Marchesi.

After graduation, I held various culinary and catering positions across northern Italy including time spent in Lago di Como/Lake Como.

In 2013, I joined a prestigious catering company in Turin where I had the privilege to cook for and manage both intimate and large, high-end events for up to 1,000 guests. We frequently were able to work with well-known international business leaders while maintaining privacy and discretion.

In 2015, I moved to America and joined a restaurant company with successful locations in Boston, Newport, and Providence, RI.

In 2021 I move with my wife to the Tampa area where I work as a private chef full time.

Chef Marco is amazing. He communicated the entire time and sent over several menus to help me plan the perfect menu for my wife. He even was great with our two rescue dogs. He explained every course and had a fantastic personality. Do yourself a favor, and plan a dinner with Chef Marco!

Chef Marco was amazing! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience, it was the perfect way to spend our Valentines weekend! The food, explanation, and conversation were all fantastic! Marco was absolutely amazing! This was my first time using Take a Chef and was not sure exactly how it worked. I got a few different bids for our date night… the moment I saw Marcos I immediately accepted. His prices were responsible, he was willing and wanting to work with us and he set an amazing expectation for the evening… which he absolutely lived up too. The food was delicious, he was friendly and informative and he was amazing with our crazy dogs! We love Marco and will absolutely be hiring him again!

Chef Marco was outstanding. He went above and beyond to make sure that he understood our needs and expectations. I also had the idea of doing a wine pairing and he quickly pulled together options making it a remarkable evening for the entire group.

Chef Marco Exceeded my expectations in every possible way I could imagine. I hired Chef Marco for a 7 course surprise anniversary dinner for my wife. I cannot even begin to verbalize how good the food was. He is an absolute artist. Marco is clean, articulate, and knowledgeable and half of the fun was hearing him explain the origin of all the amazing Italian dishes he cooked for us. It was a very magical evening and to top it off, we had leftovers to eat for almost 3 days and he left our kitchen cleaner than its ever been! Dont think twice, hire Chef Marco!!!

Chef Marco was THE BEST! He listened and understood the overall vibe I was going for. He presented flawless dishes that everyone of my guests could enjoy (and they did!). He was tidy, prompt and over SUCH A PLEASURE to work with. From presentation to the flavor everything was amazing- everyone loved it! Chef Marco was so accommodating and helped me pick the perfect plates for my husbands birthday. On the day he arrived not only did he make the most delicious meal (great portions and we had leftovers) but helped me with last minute decorations.
