Alexander Herrera is a Costa Rican Chef specialized in seafood and vegetarian/vegan style. His home style cooking comes from his family roots. He came from the Central Valley to live on the beach because of the surf and healthy life style. “Fresh and local food, cooked with love!” is what you receive when a meal is cooked by him.
The food fanatic Alex, previously was a working side by side with many of the best chefs from all over the world, what he recognizes being possible because of the cosmopolitan mix of Santa Teresa area, which embraces many different nationalities, culture and types of cuisine.
Having spent 15 years building his career in Costa Rica and working in industrial kitchens and fine dining restaurants, he decided it was time to follow his heart and start his own business. The decision was partly personal and professional – a private chef has time to dedicate to each client. And share his major passion worth the change!
Alexander's company was born from a genuine desire to make the concept of a chef cooking for you at home or on holiday more accessible than ever before. No matter what type of food you like, or which occasion it is, or what is your budget… we will take care of provisioning and planning, taking into account any special dietary requirements.
