Franco and Mia were astounding. The meals were personalized, very well presented and delicious. I would use them every-time I come back to Mallorca!

We had the most incredible evening with Franco and Mia and could not have wished for a more memorable dining experience. From start to finish, everything was simply exceptional. Each dish was beautifully presented, thoughtfully prepared, and absolutely bursting with flavour. The attention to detail was evident in every course, and it was clear how much knowledge and passion they have for their dishes and ingredients. Mia’s explanations made the experience even more special, bringing each course to life and giving us a deeper appreciation of what we were enjoying. In fact, throughout our entire trip, this was without a doubt the best meal we had. A special thank you to Franco for his excellent communication, responsiveness, and flexibility in arranging everything so seamlessly. And to Mia, thank you for your wonderful explanations and for selecting such beautiful wine pairings to accompany the menu. We were also incredibly impressed by how professional and clean they worked throughout the entire evening. Everything was handled with great care and attention, and they left the kitchen absolutely spotless afterwards. This really added to the overall experience and showed their exceptional level of professionalism. It was a truly unforgettable evening and a dining experience we will remember for a long time. Franco and Mia are an absolute pleasure to work with and we would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for an exceptional private dining experience in Mallorca. We would absolutely book them again the next time we are on the island!

Franco and Mia did an amazing job at hosting my family while we holidayed in Deia Mallorca. My daughter who is vegetarian was overwhelmed by the presentation and taste of her dishes. As for the rest of my family we absolutely raved about the cooking, each course was beautifully executed. We didn't even have to pick our menu Franco did this for us we just had to agree it. The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. I would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Mallorca. AMAZING! :)

We genuinely cannot thank Chefs Franco and Mia enough for making the first night of the hen do so special. From start to finish, everything was absolutely incredible. The food was out of this world. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. As the bride absolutely loves Italian food, Franco and Mia went above and beyond to create a menu that was perfect for us, and it was a huge hit for all of us! (we was so full we even saved some pizza for later on in the night, and it still tasted incredible!!!) What really made the experience so memorable was their kindness and personal touch. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made us feel so looked after. They even created personalised cocktail especially for us, which was such a thoughtful and fun addition!! Not only are they exceptionally talented chefs, but they are also genuinely lovely people who clearly care about making everything perfect!! If you're considering booking Franco and Mia, do it! We can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we made for the hen do. The food, presentation, service, attention to detail, and warmth were all absolutely outstanding. Chef Franco and Mia were absolutely amazing! From the beginning, they were incredibly responsive, gave us tons of options, and were so easy and flexible to work with, especially since we weren’t totally sure of our timing. The food was AMAZING, but what really made the experience unforgettable was that I ended up getting engaged that night! ???? Chef Franco and Mia went above and beyond to help my fiancé make it special. They were so accommodating with his requests, even picking up flowers and helping with all the little details. They truly made an already incredible night even more special. Cannot recommend them enough!!

One of the highlights of our entire Mallorca trip! We absolutely loved our experience with Chef Franco and Sous Chef Mia! We were a group of 8, including two toddlers, and they made the evening so special for everyone from beginning to end. The food was AMAZING. Every course was delicious, but we all agreed that the shrimp taco lettuce wrap was out of this world. We honestly all wished there had been more! And the homemade three-cheese cheesecake with fresh berries was another favorite. Chef Franco’s food and presentation were as impressive as some of the best restaurants we visited in Mallorca — and, incredibly, we all agreed that the meal even topped the Michelin-starred restaurant we had visited in Alcudia the night before! Mia was such a wonderful host. She was incredibly warm, sweet, and engaging with everyone in our group. She explained each dish as it was served, made sure our glasses were always full, cleared plates, and somehow made everything feel completely effortless. They also created a beautiful table setting using the Airbnb’s dishes and glassware along with pieces they brought themselves. Every little detail was thought of. Chef Franco also took our dietary preferences into consideration, and communication with him before the dinner was always easy and responsive. And then, as if the evening couldn’t get any better, they left the kitchen absolutely spotless! Even cleaner than when they arrived! Mia carefully packaged our leftovers for us, which made for some very happy late-night and next-day beach snacking. ???? Chef Franco and Mia were simply wonderful. Talented, professional, thoughtful, friendly, and just genuinely lovely people. This was easily one of the best experiences of our vacation, and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone visiting Mallorca. We would book them again in a heartbeat! The shrimp taco lettuce wrap + cheesecake + impeccable service = perfection!

Amazing meal, really well done

Last Thursday we had the pleasure of an absolutely outstanding catering experience with Franco and his team. The occasion was my 30th birthday, celebrated at home with 22 guests – and honestly, we couldn't have wished for a better evening. Franco created a truly exceptional menu: tuna tartare to start, followed by a freshly prepared paella cooked on-site, and to finish, brownies with vanilla ice cream. Every course was delicious, perfectly balanced and cooked to the point. You could taste the skill, care and attention to detail in every single bite. The experience beyond the food was just as impressive. Communication in the run-up was professional and straightforward, and on the night, Mia and Juli provided a wonderful, attentive service that allowed us as hosts to fully relax and enjoy the evening with our guests. And here's something we really want to highlight: after the event, the entire kitchen was left spotless, in fact, it looked even better than before they arrived. That level of care and professionalism truly sets them apart. A huge thank you to Franco and the whole team!! We would book them again in a heartbeat and can wholeheartedly recommend Take a Chef to anyone looking for an unforgettable evening.

Franco and Mia were excellent. We hired them last minute for my niece’s 18th birthday and it was truly special. He worked well with the dietary restrictions and allergies, making separate dishes for those with issues. He was a great communicator. And the food was delicious! A real pleasure. Mia was delightful to speak to and so kind. The kitchen was spotless when they left - cleaner than when they arrived. I wish Franco and Mia so much good fortune in the future.

Outstanding!!! Our group of 15 foodies was very impressed with the unique menu and presentation. The dishes were gorgeous and tasted even better. It’s impossible for a large group to eat out together in Mallorca so hiring a chef is a great option. We were able to enjoy conversations that would have been impossible in a busy restaurant. We didn’t have to cook or clean while enjoying a fantastic meal. It was amazing to watch Franco put together such a wonderful meal so quickly and efficiently. We were so impressed!!!

We had the most wonderful experience! The cocktails were absolutely delicious, and the three-course meal was fantastic from start to finish. They even beautifully decorated the birthday cake and sang along with us, which made the celebration feel so special. La comida estaba espectacular, el servicio fue cercano y profesional, y se adaptó perfectamente al ambiente. Nos hizo disfrutar sin preocuparnos de nada. Chef Franco and Chef Mia prepared a four course meal at my Villa that tops anything I’ve had from any restaurant in Spain! I originally wanted a private cooking class, but I was exhausted and let them do their thing. First dish was the Spanish potato omelette and it was a 10/10. Immediately I knew the rest of the meal was going to be great. Next dish was lettuce wrap with a fried prawn, sounds simple but the was THE BEST DISH I HAD THIS YEAR! So many layers of flavor I was so impressed I had go high five the Chef. Grilled fish with potatoes and escargot was equally amazing. I’m not a big dessert person so I just randomly picked Chef Mia’s Cheesecake and WOW! This young lady combined blue cheese, Brie and cream cheese to make the smoothest not too sweet or tart cheesecake. Simply a dessert that should be Michelin rated! I never clean my plate and I sent 3 dishes back that didn’t need washing! The only thing I didn’t finish was the first course because I wanted to save the potato omelette for breakfast the next morning. Don’t hesitate to book and support you will not be disappointed. INCREDIBLE and worth every penny ????
