My name is Claire Bear Taylor and I am from the Jersey Channel Islands, living in tasmania.
I am a young and passionate chef who loves to cook with flavor and love, attention and care, especially in my own home. I started cooking very young as my mother never cooked for me and my siblings or even knew how to use an oven, I would read cook books or look for new recipes online but still being creative and adding a personal touch.
When I became a young teenager I started cooking classes in high school and went on to do Culinary Arts in the Jersey Channel Island Highlands College.
I love hospitality culture, I even myself treat my home as an open accommodation to young travelers with the application Couch Surfing, I cook everyday for many different people as many people stay with us , I even learn a new recipe from their culture from time to time and I believe that food is a great way to bring people together and I always prefer to cook in large quantities.
If I could describe my perfect job it would be to cook and prepare meals every day but In my own way, I'd like to have the freedom to create my own dishes and preparing theses dishes for the same people so I can bond well with them and their taste buds.
