Chef Lamla was great and the food was amazing!

Chef John was amazing. From start to finish he was easy to engage with and explained each of the dishes as he served them and checked in each time to see what we thought. Dishes were generous for us (as seniors) so we were definitely satiated. Presentation of each dish was awesome as well. What a great treat for us to have this experience. Highly recommend Chef John!!

Chef Lasandra was incredibly professional and communicated with us prior to our evening dinner. She was super accommodating as we had flight delays and had to push our original dinner later. She explained every course as she prepared them and paced each course so we could enjoy the food and the experience. We picked her from 3 Chef responses because she sent a personal note with her proposal and that told me she was the one! We would highly recommend Chef Lasandra and when we visit Chicago again, we will hire her for a special dinner! Scott & Chuck

Chef Fabian was amazing! He arrived early to prep and made sure everything was ready ahead of time. The food was served right on schedule, perfectly hot, and full of flavor. The steak was seasoned to perfection, and my guests couldn’t get enough of the chicken empanadas. The salad was fresh and refreshing, especially with the balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience. Thank you, Chef Fabian!

Se nota la formación y el recorrido, y además de los platos que estaban riquísimos, compartió algunos de sus trucos y conocimientos para hacer la experiencia más completa. Es la primera vez que contratamos un servicio así y superó sin duda nuestras expectativas. ¡Súper recomendable!

O jantar não só correu muito bem, como superou as nossas expectativas. O Chef Henrique foi pontual, extremamente simpático e muito profissional desde o primeiro momento. Esteve sempre disponível para ajudar e mostrou uma grande flexibilidade ao trabalhar comigo na construção do menu, adaptando-o aos gostos dos convidados e à situação específica do jantar. Todos os pratos estavam muito saborosos e com uma apresentação impecável. Os convidados ficaram muito impressionados com a qualidade da comida e também com a experiência de ver alguns dos pratos a serem confeccionados. O Chef Henrique foi também muito atencioso durante toda a noite e ainda preparou algumas pequenas surpresas muito agradáveis para a mesa, o que tornou o jantar ainda mais especial. No final, deixou a cozinha limpa e organizada, como se nada tivesse acontecido. Foi uma experiência fantástica e recomendo sem qualquer dúvida. Chef Katrina cooked a birthday dinner for us last Saturday. Prior to Saturday, she responded very promptly to each and every one of my question. She arrived promptly with her assistant, Chef Aliana. The dinner was not only beautifully presented but also very delicious! Chef Katrina was able to add an unexpected but very welcome umami to the French inspired dinner with her Caribbean roots. We would hire Chef Katrina for another dinner in a heartbeat! Thank you, Chef!

We booked a private chef through Take a Chef for our friend’s 40th birthday and it was a fantastic experience. Our chef Adam was punctual, friendly and professional. The food was delicious and everything ran seamlessly from start to finish. It made the evening feel really special and stress-free for us. Our group had an incredible experience thanks to Chef Carlos. From the very beginning, it was clear how passionate and dedicated he is about his cooking. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor; it’s obvious that the Chef puts a great deal of creativity and attention to detail into everything he prepares. The food was spectacular from start to finish. The chicken was delicious, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The steak was also amazing, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The fish was very well prepared—light and fresh. And the beet salad… simply spectacular! It was one of our favorites. The dressings were also unique and delicious, something different that truly elevated each dish. The breakfasts and desserts were wonderful as well—beautifully presented and perfectly balanced in flavor. The natural juices were simply amazing. But if there’s one thing we all keep talking about, it’s the jam the Chef made for breakfast. It was everyone’s favorite—absolutely delicious. I also want to highlight how attentive and considerate the Chef was with dietary restrictions. We had a person in our group who was lactose intolerant, and he was very careful to ensure that we could enjoy every meal without any issues, which I truly appreciated. Overall, it was a memorable culinary experience. Chef Carlos truly made every meal feel special.

Paula did an incredible job with the entire menu. I requested a Spanish Tapas menu with Paella for the main course. From the shrimp to the potatoes bravas to the Spanish torta and the jamon and cheeses, the tapas was delicious. The paella was very good but not your traditional style. It had delicious shrimp and great flavor but no chorizo or chicken. The dessert was amazing. She was charming and gracious throughout the evening and left us with many leftovers that we enjoyed the next few days.
