My name is Nikola, and I am an experienced chef with 11 years in the culinary field, originally from Montenegro. I love creating dishes using fresh, local ingredients sourced directly from local suppliers.

I am a calm, friendly, positive, and communicative person who strives to fulfill all guests’ wishes, making them happy and excited for the next meal coming from my kitchen.

What an incredible evening! I left the entire menu in Nikola’s hands, with just one request, fresh, traditional Dalmatian food. And wow, did he deliver! The array of dishes was unbelievable, each one beautifully prepared, full of flavour and of exceptional quality. All eight of us absolutely loved every single dish, which is quite an achievement! Nikola completely surpassed our expectations and made our evening at the villa truly special. An unforgettable experience and I couldn’t recommend him highly enough!

An outstanding dinner experience from start to finish. Cooking for 20 guests is no small feat, yet everything was executed flawlessly with creativity, precision, and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. We loved Chef Nikola! From the beginning he was very responsive and easy to work with. We relied heavily on his recommendations for the meal and it did not disappoint - tons of fresh seasonal veggies and fish which was exactly what we were looking for. Every dish was delicious and we had one friend on the trip with several severe allergies - he was able to accommodate all of them and help us choose menu items that would meet her restrictions. 10/10 would recommend!

I booked Chef Nikola Popovic to cook for a private dinner as we were celebrating my mother’s birthday here in Croatia. Niko was absolutely fantastic and cooked us the most amazing variety of dishes! Beautiful canapés, lovely starters, main dishes and a fantastic desert! We had a lot of email exchanges to get an understanding of what we would like and to create the menu and Niko throughout all of this was very responsive and helpful! I would highly recommend Niko - a really nice guy, good fun, cleaned up very well and we had such an enjoyable evening!! Thank you!

Chef Nikola was amazing! He cooked for a group of 10 of us for a seaside dinner in our rental villa in Dubrovnik and it was a perfect dinner and evening! The many dishes were extremely fresh and impressive using all local ingredients and creative recipes. I would highly recommend hiring him as your chef.

Chef Nikola and his assistant were fantastic. They came very well prepared and made an incredible 5 course meal for me and my 7 friends. He even worked with me to curate a menu I desired, and cooked way more food than we could finish! The chicken Pate, tacos, ceviche, and calamari were all delicious. That doesn’t even include the main steak dish, mashed potatoes, and the delicious peach dessert. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a chef while in Dubrovnik
