Chef Hanifah Hanifah

My name is Hanifah, and I am half Indonesian and Jamaican. I am a self taught aspiring chef, and I let my creativity guide me in the kitchen! I grew up between Indonesia and the United States, experiencing two cultures that have shaped my identity and deepened my appreciation for food, family, and tradition. My deep love for cooking came from the memories I made around the table, the flavors I grew up with, and the joy of sharing meals with the people I love. For me, cooking is more than preparing food; it is a way to preserve my heritage, express my creativity, and bring people together. Through every dish I make, I hope to share a little piece of my story, blending the influences of my Indonesian and Jamaican roots with the experiences that have shaped me.
