Chef Evan Chui crafts modern comfort cuisine, blending Western flavors with Asian influences to create memorable and refined dining experiences.

I’m Chef Evan Chui, and my culinary journey began in 2017, driven by a passion for creating dishes that are both comforting and refined. My expertise lies primarily in Western cuisine, where I focus on delivering well-balanced flavours with a modern touch.

A key milestone in my career came in 2024, when I was awarded a Silver medal at the prestigious IKA Culinary Olympics—an achievement that reflects my dedication to craftsmanship and continuous growth in the culinary field.

Prior to founding Rise & Sip Cafe Bistro in 2023, I had the opportunity to collaborate with brands such as Beyond Meat, Harvest Gourmet, and Green Rebel, where I developed exclusive menus that showcased creativity and innovation, particularly in modern and plant-based cuisine.

At Rise & Sip, I focus on creating thoughtfully balanced meals that are both satisfying and approachable, bringing together quality ingredients and refined techniques. Beyond the kitchen, I’ve also hosted culinary live shows on Facebook Live and made appearances on local TV programmes, sharing my passion and connecting with a wider audience.

I take pride in curating personalised dining experiences, working closely with clients to craft menus that suit each occasion—whether it’s an intimate dinner or a special celebration. My goal is always to create memorable moments through food that feels both elevated and genuine.
