Chef Melba Nunis

I am a Malaysian chef, cookbook author, and passionate advocate of Kristang cuisine, the rich Eurasian culinary heritage of Melaka. My love for cooking began in my family kitchen, where I learned treasured recipes and traditions from my mother and grandmother.

Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to preserving and sharing Kristang food culture through my restaurant, culinary events, and writing. My cookbook, A Kristang Family Cookbook, received international recognition and reflects my commitment to documenting and celebrating the recipes passed down through generations.
