A self-taught gourmet with over 10 years of cooking under my belt. My cooking journey really took off when I moved into my first house that I owned. Whenever I back to hometown in Sabah, my mom used to buy me tons of seafood and encouraged me to cook for myself instead of eating out where there’s a lot of food loaded with MSG. Instead of just cooking and eating, I started plating my dishes nicely, snapping pictures, and sending to my mom before digging in. It became my little way of staying connected and sharing moments of my life with my mom, even though we’re far apart.

My masak-masak cooking skills really levelled up when I unexpectedly given the chance to study a culinary course at Berjaya Group. The “Food Preparation & Culinary Art” class completely opened my eyes to the depth and artistry of cooking, helping me grow not just as a cook, but as someone who truly values the stories and love behind every dish, it took my skills and passion to the next level.
