I opened the well known Acid Food & Wine Bar last year after having worked as a chef for 8 years and as a private chef for the past 4 years. I have travelled around the world learning about food. My most memorable trip was to Thailand learning about the flavors of the regional cuisines, the culture, and also connecting with my roots. I used this knowledge to show case SE Asian food here in South Africa.
