I opened the well known Acid Food & Wine Bar last year after having worked as a chef for 8 years and as a private chef for the past 4 years. I have travelled around the world learning about food. My most memorable trip was to Thailand learning about the flavors of the regional cuisines, the culture, and also connecting with my roots. I used this knowledge to show case SE Asian food here in South Africa.

What a great experience! an Awesome 21st Anniversary! Had a six course menu. Each and every dish was delicious! I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a special evening. Thank you Chef Jessie!

Jessie succeeded in turning a surprise evening into a most memorable occasion. The menu was perfect and we loved the interaction and sharing of her experiences which made the evening so much more memorable. Jessie kept me informed of all plans along the way and at no stage did I have to worry about the planning or the evening. A truly fantastic Chef and evening.

She also took the initiative to make` wine recommendations. Jessie settled beautifully into our kitchen, making herself at home and giving me the confidence to relax and enjoy the evening. She was professional, polite, entertaining and above all, she cooked a magnificent four-course meal. It was an outstanding evening.
