I started my food journey in year 2000, in scullery for few months, went on to study at International Hotel School, obtained City and Guilds diploma in Culinary Arts, I worked in different establishments in South Africa, Tanzania (Serengeti) and in England (London). I am currently self employed doing private chef gigs in and around Durban up to Johannesburg.

Was an amazing evening all round, food was impeccable!

We had Chef Themba cook dinner for Valentines Day. With this being the first time hiring a private chef I was a bit nervous. But wow, we were totally blown away. He was friendly, nice and professional. His dishes were outstanding - every one of them! And the creme brule for dessert was the best Ive ever had. Thank you Chef Themba for wonderful memorable experience.
