I was born and raised in Bologna, the Italian city known worldwide for its typical dishes, such as lasagna and tortellini bolognese.
I have been working in the family food business since I was sixteen. I grew up among cured meats and cheeses, among homemade pasta and Bolognese ragù. I managed the family grocery store for several years after the loss of my parents. I have collaborated with several restaurants and catering services. I have lived in Umbria for several years and with my sister, who works in tourism, we organize private dinners at home on request to let the many foreigners who come to visit these areas, between Umbria and Tuscany, try the real Bolognese cuisine. We like to bring a bit of our Bologna to the world!
