Magnifique expérience culinaire ! Le chef s'est basé sur nos goûts : nous souhaitions manger principalement des produits de la mer et des spécialités siciliennes. Tout était incroyablement savoureux. De plus, Giuseppe et son équipe étaient très sympathiques ; nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise avec eux. C'était notre première expérience avec Take a Chef, et nous recommencerons sans hésiter !

Chef Giuseppe Rubino's team were wonderful: Marco and Daniela. The meal was the highlight of my family's time in Sicily Bravo!!!

Giuseppe was AMAZING!!! My sisters and I booked him as a surprise for our parents while we were in Cefalu and It was a standout moment of our trip. He was punctual, quick to respond, and cooked an absolutely delicious meal. Our whole family was extremely satisfied. 10/10

Giuseppe and his staff were absolutely amazing! Every dish was so delicious. He is a joy to work with. I highly recommend him. I definitely picked the right chef. He was On time, professional, and very skilled. Guiseppe is simply the best.

Take a chef was the best idea we had for our vacation. Menu selection was extensive, communication/ follow-up was ongoing, questions were answered in a timely manner considering the time difference. Presentation was beautiful, food was amazing, swordfish was moist and the pairing with an orange and fennel salad was perfect. Best part, dessert, ice cream cake was completely different from anything in American, light and refreshing. After the meal the kitchen was cleaner then when they arrived, you couldn’t tell a 4 course meal had been serviced to 6 people. I highly recommend Giuseppe

Servizio impeccabile e grande attenzione verso di noi: un’esperienza che ricorderemo con piacere.

The dinner Giuseppe prepared for us was exquisite, and a great showcase of what Sicily had to offer in terms of gastronomy. Local ingredients, nicely cooked. Giuseppe left our kitchen absolutely spotless and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a chef in the Palermo region.

We absolutely loved our meal by Giuseppe! Such great flavors and authentic Sicilian foods. He did very well with the unequipped kitchen we had to offer. Would absolutely recommend Giuseppe to any friends coming to Sicily and we were tempted to book him again for the next night!

Very good local food and a very good experience. He arrived on time, managed to prepare an amazing meal with only limited kitchen tools and facilities. Everything was cleaned properly and the chef was very kind. We will for sure consider to use him again.

Giuseppe was wonderful from his initial menu proposal to completing the 4 course meal. He prepared gluten free options as well. His eggplant parm was spot on and visually appealing. Potato flan, rigatoni with suckling pig sauce and cassata cake. My family of 13 enjoyed the experience thoroughly!! It was a treat for us and well worth it after a long flight the day before. Bravo Giuseppe e grazie!!

Chef Guiseppe Rubino was excellent. He offered a number of choices for each course and delivered a superb dinner for us. He was punctual, professional and engaging. He faced some challenges on the day with how hot the kitchen was and some electrical issues, but dealt with these calmly and professionally with no evident stress. In spite of these challenges, every course was visually appealing and tasted delicious - we loved it all. At the end if the meal, the kitchen was spotless. Overall, a great meal and experience. We would recommend Chef Rubino without any hesitation.

Chef Giuseppe is fantastic! His preparation and attention to detail is amazing. He prepared a fantastic meal for our family at the house we rented in Castellammarre de Golfo. He even provided a wine pairing option that consisted of local wines, and after our amazing meal, the kitchen was spotless. We cannot recommend Chef Giuseppe enough, you will not be disappointed, and he can work with you on the menu over WhatsApp to make sure you are aligned with the meal for your needs. Truly a 5-star experience!

Guiseppe was great! He arrived in plenty of time and put together a great menu for our family dinner. The bruschetta was amazing!!! All of the dishes were fab and I’d highly recommend using him.

Having never hired a chef before I was a little apprehensive about this website. This is the second time I've used this website now and both experiences have been great. Giuseppe catered for us for four nights in our villa in Sicily, his communication beforehand was excellent, he was always super punctual, very engaging with a relaxed yet professional manner that meant it was a really relaxing affair having him in the villa in the evenings. The food was lovely and generally done to an excellent standard. Only very small criticism was that a handful of the Sicilian delicacies weren't quite to our tastes however I wouldn't hesitate to book him again. Great chef, lovely food and a top person.

Chef Giuseppe was brilliant in accommodating our group with 3 vegetarian and 3 meat/fish meals. He was really professional and quick to respond on WhatsApp, happy to tailor everything to our needs. The table setup looked lovely and his mum’s cassata was absolutely incredible. Big thanks to him!

WOW! Giuseppe exceeded expectations in many ways with his preparation and cook for our 5 person dinner overlooking the ocean. He was engaging, flexible, and delivered above what was set out. We tried some amazing local dishes, and overly full! So much leftovers. Loved seeing his prep work and him visiting the fish markets, knowing that you have the best quality. Appetizers - snapper tartare (so light and fresh), prawn ceviche and caponata. All larger than expected and all so yum! Seafood pasta was fresh and pasta perfectly cooked. Big Sicilian grill - wow, big is the right word. Such an impressive outlay of steak, sausages, veal and all! Dessert - wow, the canoli! We can’t wait to try his mum’s cassatta today (we had no room last night). Thank you Giuseppe! Huge recommendations. Kitchen left spotless! Jason and friends

Abbiamo avuto il piacere di avere Giuseppe per una cena speciale in occasione del compleanno della mia ragazza, e l’esperienza è stata semplicemente perfetta. Già dalla fase organizzativa, Giuseppe si è dimostrato disponibile e attento: comunicazione impeccabile, grande puntualità e cura nei dettagli, dalla preparazione della tavola alla gestione della serata. Il menù proposto era abbondante, costruito secondo le mie richieste, con materie prime di altissima qualità – in particolare il pesce, freschissimo e cucinato alla perfezione. Non solo ogni piatto è stato un successo, ma la cucina è stata lasciata pulitissima, come se nessuno ci avesse cucinato. A fine serata abbiamo anche avuto modo di scambiare due chiacchiere con lo chef: persona gentilissima, simpatica e molto professionale. Un’esperienza da ripetere assolutamente. Consigliatissimo!
