Although I now enjoy cooking all types of proteins, I started my journey in vibrant vegetarian restaurants and in kitchens where I explored the incredible flavors and textures of plant-based ingredients and quickly fell in love with the creativity that comes from cooking within restrictions and using local fresh ingredients.

As my career progressed, I shifted my focus to allergen-friendly kitchens, where I crafted dishes that catered to diverse dietary needs. This experience deepened my understanding of ingredients and inspired me to create meals that are not only delicious but also accessible for everyone.

2 years ago, I moved to Vieques, Puerto Rico as head chef at a Ayurvedic hotel. This combined my love for plant-based cuisine with the principles of Ayurveda, an ancient holistic healing system, crafting dishes that nourish the body and soul. I believe that food should be a harmonious blend of flavor, health, and mindfulness, and I strive to bring this philosophy to every plate I serve.

Now I cook all kinds of cuisine, vegan and non-vegan, keto, paleo, Ayurvedic and international cuisines.

When I’m not in the kitchen, you can find me exploring the lush landscapes of Puerto Rico, gathering inspiration from nature, or experimenting with new recipes that celebrate the rich tapestry of global cuisines. I’m excited to continue sharing my culinary journey and creating memorable dining experiences.

Amazing chef, creative menu choices, easy to work with, each meal better than the last!

Chef Adriana is amazing. She is fun to be around and can handle any kind of group. She is very easy to engage with, and it was really fun getting to know her and hear stories about her life. She listens to everyones stories as well and can tell that she truly enjoys what she does. I told her I did not want to pick anything in advance and please just come up with a local, seafood inspired meal. She knocked it out of the park. All local produce and fish. She had great stories to tell about each item of food and why she picked it. All of the food was absolutely amazing and all 9 of us loved it. She definitely gets a 10/10, and we would recommend her for anyone. We appreciate everything Chef Adriana for us, and cannot wait to go back and hopefully have her, or at least one of her friends cook for us again. Thanks Chef, you were the best, and it was a great way to end the trip!

Adriana visited us for 3 evenings during our family reunion in San Juan. It was the highlight of everyone's trip. We asked for traditional Puerto Rican food, and she delivered amazingly. She explained each dish and was constantly available for questions about ingredients, cooking techniques and traditions. Her prep work was so beautiful (and smelled so good!) that the kitchen instantly became the most appealing part of the house while she was working. And she was so gracious about answering questions both from the adults and the children! She was friendly and generous, and her food was as beautiful as it was delicious. This was such a nice enhancement to our gathering. We would all do this again if we're lucky enough to get the chance.
