I am a seasoned professional chef with over 20 years of expertise in the realm of fine dining. I undertook my culinary education at Le Cordon Bleu in Boston, where I had the privilege of studying under the esteemed Chef Michael Schlow. Additionally, I honed my culinary skills in Puerto Rico under the mentorship of Chef Mario Pagan. I take great pleasure in working with ingredients sourced from around the world and seamlessly incorporating them into Puerto Rican cuisine.

Chef Tomas was incredible! We traveled to PR with a big group of 16 people so having him cook us breakfast and dinner was a huge help. The food was delicious and Tomas was very professional, prompt and kind. We would 100% recommend hiring him!

Our family LOVED Tomas. We booked his services for the entire week we spent in Puerto Rico and it was perfect. Tomas provided so many great options for each of our meals, did all of the shopping and preparation in advance and then cooked each of our meals to perfection. His meals were not only beautifully presented, but delicious. We had 7 people as well as a nut allergy and Tomas was able to provide the perfect amount of food for each of our meals. Among all of the chefs on Take a Chef, I think he is one of the best we have ever had. Cannot recommend him enough if you are looking for a great chef in Puerto Rico! Thanks again!

Chef Tomas is everything you want in a Chef and more. I expressed how important it was for my children (18 and 13) to experience Puerto Rican culture through food while on vacation in PR. He did an amazing job. He delivered such a great job that my children said Chef was the best part of the vacation. We looked forward to dinner every day and there were fights over leftovers. Chef Tomas introduced us to a new world and we are grateful for his care. It is hands down the best money I have ever spent.

Chef Tomas was absolutely amazing and most definitely, the best personal chef I have ever had in my life- all 7 guests in our household would absolutely agree. The breakfast meal was incredible; perfectly cooked eggs, pumpkin pancakes with ricotta & chai syrup, potatoes, avocado toast, fresh fruit, bacon and sausage. We even had a few girls who had allergies and he never hesitated to accommodate their requests. For our last meal, he cooked an amazing local dish of a snapper and steak that melted in everyone's mouth. He arrived on time for every meal to prepare and even adjusted to our scheduled if we wanted to push back on time. You will miss out on the best meals of your life if you do not book with Chef Tomas. If the rating was between 0 and 10, I would honestly rate him a 100. We will definitely be booking Chef Tomas when we come back to Puerto Rico- he made it so special for each and everyone.
