I’m William, a private chef based in Puerto Rico, and my mission is simple: to share the true essence of Puerto Rico through unforgettable private dining experiences. Every meal I create is an invitation to discover our culture, our traditions, and the flavors that make this island so special.

For guests visiting Puerto Rico, I believe the most memorable meals shouldn’t happen in crowded restaurants, they should happen around a table shared with the people they love. That’s why I specialize in warm, family-style dining experiences where every dish is meant to be passed, shared, and enjoyed together, just as we do in Puerto Rican homes.

My cuisine is deeply rooted in authentic Puerto Rican flavors, elevated with refined culinary techniques, thoughtful presentation, and carefully selected local ingredients. The result is food that feels familiar, comforting, and exciting all at once, respecting tradition while delivering a polished private dining experience.

Beyond Puerto Rican cuisine, I also design international menus inspired by Mediterranean, Italian, American, Latin, and contemporary flavors, always customized around each guest’s vision, preferences, and occasion. Every menu is created from scratch rather than chosen from a template, ensuring that every experience feels personal and unique.

From our first conversation until the final dessert, my goal is simple: to make every guest feel cared for, completely relaxed, and confident they experienced one of the most memorable meals of their stay in Puerto Rico.

I wanted to take a moment to express our sincere appreciation for Chef William and his assistant during our recent family trip. Our group consisted of 20-plus family members spanning multiple generations, and coordinating meals for a gathering of that size is no small task. To make things even more challenging, several members of our family had different dietary restrictions and food preferences. Despite these complexities, Chef William approached every meal with remarkable skill, creativity, and enthusiasm. Throughout our stay, he consistently prepared delicious, beautifully presented meals that accommodated everyone's needs without ever making anyone feel like an afterthought. Whether someone required special dietary accommodations or simply had personal preferences, Chef William ensured that every guest enjoyed exceptional food and felt included at the table. What impressed us most was not only the quality of the meals but also the care and attention he brought to every interaction. His warm personality, professionalism, and genuine desire to make our family gathering special were evident from the very beginning. His assistant was equally attentive and hardworking, helping to create a seamless dining experience that exceeded all expectations. By the end of our trip, Chef William had become much more than our chef. He felt like an extension of our family—a welcome presence whose passion for cooking and caring for others was evident in everything he did. Chef William went above and beyond to make our vacation one to remember. He was so accommodating of an egg allergy in our group. Made a separate dessert each night. I cannot say enough good things about him! He was the best thing about Puerto Rico. We will use him any time we are able.

Chef William provided us with an incredible dinner experience! I can't recommend him enough. He showed up at the agreed upon time, and led our group through a culinary voyage full of incredible Puerto Rican cuisine. Our group of 11 friends celebrated multiple birthdays by inviting Chef William to our air b&b to share his amazing, authentic Puerto Rican family style dishes. It was such a memorable experience and we highly recommend him!

He was responsive and professional. On the day of, Chef William was punctual and professional, and the dishes were high quality, flavorful, and delicious. Amazing experience. We had basically no kitchen and no appliances at our AirBnB and they still made it happen. Incredible expo, food was so amazing, even got some leftovers to enjoy! Absolutely a highlight of our time here. Can recommend enough, absolutely worth it.

Chef William did a wonderful job taking care of our family on our planned “beach day”. We were two families with young children and different dietary restrictions. On top of that we had a very bare bones kitchen. He and his partner came in and made a menu that made the day a breeze. They selected dishes that would be compatible for everyone and were even toddler approved. They also brought many of their own utensils, serve-ware, and take out containers to make things easier. This also allowed for great presentation. We had meals both at home and packed to go for one whole day so that we could spend all day on the beach and feel relaxed. We did not have to lift a finger and they left everything spotless. We had authentic food better than out at restaurants. We didn’t have to deal with wait times or finding tables which is a hassle with a large group like ours with small children. The food is comforting and filling with great portion sizes; better than anything we could have made ourselves on a trip. We even had enough to have some the next day and not worry about running out to grab food before our flights. Our experience was 10/10 and would definitely do it again.

Look. We are foodies. Our entire family loves interesting and unique dishes, especially when traveling. The biggest issue is that we have some food constraints that make it hard for us to find excellent caliber food that meets all our food allergies. Enter Chef William. Chef William didn't just meet our needs, he exceeded our expectations in every single way. We decided to have a special 16th birthday dinner for our trip to Puerto Rico, and William came through with an exceptional menu as well as the experience. We were able to work together to figure out the best menu for our newly minted 16-year-old, even with his food allergies. He was on time, laying out everything he needed and even taking time during preparation to interact comfortably and professionally with the children when they had questions. Now the food. Oh my GOODNESS the food!! The food was so good that we bought a cooler just to take his food with us to our next VRBO. Three-day preparation pernil. His family recipes. His food exuded the idea that food is love in every way. My youngest, pickiest daughter became obsessed with pigeon peas! The meal was incredible, and the most memorable gift my teen said he ever received in his life. If you are looking to build memories, if you love food, if you want to be around a chef who is truly at the top of his craft, book Chef William. The only sad part of this review is that I'm sure he will book out so far in advance that we will have to plan our trips to Puerto Rico around when William is free!

Chef William was so attentive, thoughtful, thorough, and timely. Our group was in town for a milestone birthday trip. The dishes were amazing and he went way above and beyond to customize the experience to fit our celebration. Super accommodating and worked around our busy schedules. We had the opportunity to visit one of the higher end restaurants and unanimously agreed, Chef William’s food took the cake. Our group of 8 is so thankful for all the love, thought and energy that went into making our 5 day trip a great success. We cannot wait to come back again for seconds!

He asked insightful questions prior to preparing the menu and then was really flexible when I asked for small adjustments. He coordinated with our arrival to ensure we had dinner as soon as possible the day we got to the house. When one of our party disclosed a food intolerance that had not been disclosed in advance, he accommodated her really well and gave her options each meal. Also, when two of us missed breakfast for a dive excursion, he saved some for us and reheated it for us so it was still fresh and delicious. And the FOOD!!!! Every day I thought it was the best it could have been, and then the next day he exceeded that. My birthday dinner was EVERYTHING I could have wanted, and he even added a candle to my incredible tres leches cake. I wish I could have eaten more bc everything we had was to die for. Finally, Chef William meticulously cleaned not only his own cooking supplies, but even cleaned our dishes for us. I wish we could bring him back with us. He was so kind and thoughtful and talented, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Will definitely book again when we come back!!

William is the kindest, most lovely, honest, hardworking , thoughtful, creative chef with delicious food!! I rented a house for a week with my best girlfriends for my 50th birthday and he made us 2 meals per day: brunch and dinner. He blew us all away with his talent and quality of food. He gave the week his all and we all had the best time thanks to him. I can’t wait to return to Puerto Rico to have another chance to work with William again!

Chef Will made our experience in Puerto Rico truly unforgettable. He went above and beyond in every aspect of service, he prepared the meals, served them AND cleaned up when we were done. Usually there is a whole support staff to facilitate those services, and he did it all solo (for 11 people). He was prompt and on time with service of meals every day, but was also flexible when we had been out too late partying and needed to delay breakfast over three hours. From the beginning Will took initiative and communicated his entire meal plan articulately (before we even reached out), and then delivered in a BIG way. The food was delicious, hearty, and represented the fine culture of Puerto Rico with every bite. We left each breakfast or dinner 100% satisfied. (Note: Wills desserts are INCREDIBLE he made a rum bread pudding that I will be dreaming about until I get to go back and try his again) Me and the 10 other guys who shared the BnB who chanced on Chef Will consider ourselves extremely lucky, and we definitely will be contacting him for our next trip to Puerto Rico and you should too.
