Michelin-trained private chef bringing over 15 years of international experience, refined technique and restaurant-quality dining to your home.

I have over 15 years of experience in professional kitchens, including Michelin-starred environments, and today I bring that experience directly to my guests as a private chef.

My cooking is focused on refined simplicity: excellent ingredients, precise technique, balanced flavors, and elegant presentation. I create each menu around the guests, the occasion, and the season, combining Mediterranean influences, Japanese touches, and modern European techniques.

What I enjoy most about private dining is the personal connection. I take care of the entire experience — from menu creation and preparation to cooking, plating, and service — allowing my guests to simply relax and enjoy the evening.

Alongside my work as a private chef, I share my cooking with an international audience of around two million people across social media. This has also given me the opportunity to develop my own culinary style, present dishes visually, and connect with people through food.

I have also published my own cookbook, sharing recipes and the philosophy behind my everyday approach to cooking.

Whether it is an intimate dinner, a family celebration, or a special tasting experience, my goal is always the same: exceptional food, precise execution, and a memorable experience around the table.

We hired Chef Otar for my husband's birthday during our family holiday and he was fabulous! Extremely good communication in the lead up to the day, very quick to reply. He had done a lot of prep work in advance which meant we were given the choice of how soon we wanted each course. Otar was so engaging with stories of his chef journey and the dishes he was making. He was a delight! The food was delicious! Very well presented, good size portions and the taste combinations were incredible. I meant to take a few photos to remember the occasion, but we were enjoying the food too much and chatting with Otar, so totally forgot - a sign of a good time if you ask me. I would highly recommend Otar for any occasion, should it be an intimate meal or large family gathering.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Chef Otar was extremely professional, warm and engaging and we genuinely enjoyed not only the food but also the conversations and the whole experience of having him cook for us at home. What impressed us most was how effortless he made everything look. He arrived with just one box, but from that came a complete, professionally executed multi-course dinner. You could really see the years of experience behind it. What looked simple when he arrived was actually the result of a huge amount of preparation beforehand including ingredients that had already been slow-cooked for eight hours at home. Every course was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented and it was fascinating to see how much technique and preparation goes into creating a restaurant-quality experience in your own home. We truly enjoyed the entire evening. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something beyond a normal dinner whether for a celebration, a special occasion, or simply a unique and memorable experience at home. We would happily book him again.

Chef Otar was phenomenal! He arrived early and allowed us to put our toddler down for bed before getting the evening started. The food was delicious and very filling! I would definitely recommend Chef Otar to others looking for a private experience!

Chef Otar absolutely delighted our guests, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. We chose the three-course service, and every dish was truly excellent: refined and beautifully presented, while still feeling warm, comforting, and full of flavour. My sister and I hadn’t chosen a menu ourselves, but Chef Otar went above and beyond to make sure we could also taste and enjoy his creations, without any additional charge. We were genuinely touched by his generosity and kindness, and everything we tasted was absolutely delicious. A wonderful experience from start to finish. Chef Otar is incredibly talented, thoughtful, and professional, and we would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a special private dining experience. Thank you so much, Chef Otar!

Nous avons fait appel à Otar pour un dîner d’anniversaire et nous avons absolument adoré l’expérience ! Le menu était délicieux, parfaitement exécuté, et le repas a fait l’unanimité auprès de tous nos convives. Au-delà de ses talents de chef, Otar est une personne très sympathique, professionnelle, attentionnée et à l’écoute. Nous le recommandons à 100 % et n’hésiterons pas une seconde à faire de nouveau appel à ses services pour une prochaine occasion. Chef Otar is brilliant. That feeling of being in a restaurant at home is incredible! From creating the menu with him right through to our preparations before our guests arrived, everything was amazing. We had an exceptional culinary experience with all our guests. They loved meeting the chef in the kitchen, as well as his explanations whilst the dishes were being served. Every Father's Day has been celebrated with all of our children until we moved here a few years ago. So, I wanted to celebrate my husband for Father's Day in a special way. What better way than a specially curated meal at home crafted by a chef. He was completely surprised and happy he didn't have to leave home. We all enjoyed the experience and chef Otar Shakhbazian!!!
