I find great joy in cooking and using food as a medium to create shared memories and conveying emotions words of any language cannot.
I am a professional chef with 16 years of experience in the culinary world. I studied and finished BA Honours in International Hospitality Management at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen City, Scotland. Between Year 2018 and 2019 I have joined and won a few National and International Culinary Competitions including ScotHot 2019 Champion in Country Range Student Chef Challenge and Finalist in Nestle Professional Toque d'Or Competition 2019 held in London to name a couple. My work experience expands from working in Franchise brands (Burger King and Wagamama), privately owned Restaurants/Cafes/Casinos, Hotels up to the Care Industry. In where I have worked myself up from being a Line Chef in to becoming a Head Chef. I am always keen and excited to learn and recreate recipes from any cuisine. I am trained in Hot and Cold food preparation, Pastry, Confectionery, Butchery and Bread Baking. My knowledge in food includes traditional and modern interpretation of European, South and Eastern Asian Cuisines. Lately I have been expanding my knowledge in African and Middle-Eastern Cuisine. After spending a few years in Glasgow for parts of my studies I am now settled back in Aberdeen.
