Experienced chef and culinary leader passionate about great food, strong kitchen teams and memorable dining experiences.
I am a professional chef with more than 16 years of experience across restaurants, luxury hotels, country clubs, catering operations and high-volume kitchens in South Africa and the United States.
Throughout my career, I have progressed from trainee chef and Chef de Partie to Senior Sous Chef, Head Chef and Catering Manager. My experience includes menu development, recipe costing, stock control, staff training, food safety, waste reduction and the daily management of busy kitchen operations.
I enjoy creating food that is full of flavour, presented with care and suited to the guests and setting. I am also passionate about developing kitchen teams, sharing my knowledge and creating practical systems that help people work consistently and confidently.
For me, being a chef is about more than cooking. It is about leadership, discipline, creativity and bringing people together through memorable food.
