Chef Xen De Jongh

I’m a playful chef and culinary teacher with a passion for guiding learners with disabilities as they enter the world of professional cooking. My journey has taken me through a variety of hotels and restaurants in and around Cape Town, as well as abroad, giving me a rich and diverse foundation in the industry.

I love experimenting with concepts, flavors and presentations — always having fun with food while staying true to the integrity of each product. I remain a lifelong student of the kitchen, always open to new ideas, techniques and inspirations that help me grow and evolve alongside the people I teach.
