Personal Chef En Barcelona

I have spent over 10 years in Barcelona working along aside Roger Auberts, who was an apprentice to Ferran Adría, and who has an award winning catering company. I left him after a couple of years and opened my own catering company and gourmet sandwich café. I have just recently returned to L.A. and have worked for a few celebrity clients.

I have a strong passion for local, fresh and seasonal ingredients, coupled with the ability to present food with unique design and imagination. I shop, order and acquire food, supplies including any necessary equipment for the kitchen and cook for healthy lifestyle and family friendly meals. Ensures that all plates or pans served are aesthetically appealing. My experience includes successfully conceptualizing and developing innovative menus to optimize guest satisfaction and retention while overseeing comprehensive kitchen operations, inventory control, and financial management.

Una propuesta excelente la de contratar los servicios de un Chef para que te cocine en tu propia casa y si tienes la suerte de haber conocido a nuestra chef Kathleen seguro que la experiencia no puede ser más agradable. Gran profesional con unos platos magníficamente elaborados y super bien presentados.. Me quedé gratamente impresionado como se manejaba en la cocina, no hizo falta decirle nada acerca del funcionamiento de los electrodomésticos ni de donde estaba la vajilla, te pone la mesa y te sirve los platos dándote una breve explicación de los ingredientes que compone cada plato .. En definitiva volvería a repetir esta gran experiencia. Gracias por todo Kathleen!!

Kathleen vino a casa pronto y se ocupó incluso del aperitivo! La comida era excelente, original y con muy buenas materias primas. Tuvimos un imprevisto y vinieron más invitados de los previstos. La Chef se adaptó de maravilla y, como en la multiplicación de los panes y los peces, todo el mundo pudo cenar y sobró comida. Gracias Chef Kathleen!

Kathleen did a fantastic job catering dinner for 10 at my home. She was very responsive on email before the event, and explained the menu in detail ahead of time. She brought all the food with her partly prepared, and finished cooking and plating in my kitchen. I didn't need to spend any time explaining where things were, she just made herself at home and sorted it out herself which I greatly appreciated. The meal itself exceeded my expectations, and my guests were hugely impressed with both the quality and quantity of food. her menu was creative and beautifully executed. Kathleen has a warm and engaging personality which made it an even better experience. I'm looking forward to working with her again. Thank you Kathleen!

We originally had a different chef with a different menu planned. Some scheduling conflict came up, and I was informed that the service would need to find another chef. Kathleen stepped in to save the day! My focus was on local fare while in Barcelona, and Kathleen must have had knowledge of my previously chosen menu. She honored my desire for a focus on local cheese with a beautiful first course charcuterie board. This was not a simple board; local meats and cheeses were present of course, but also chef made gelee, included fig, brought a choice of olives, stuffed peppers, etc! It was beautiful. Though all courses were wonderful, she absolutely wowed us all with her fried eggplant salad. We are still talking about that dish today. My boyfriend doesn't even like eggplant; he LOVED Chef Kathleen's. We highly recommend this Chef and service. Our kitchen was spotless at the end, and Chef was personable and relatable through the experience. Five star!
