Chef Gianluca Vitellino

My name is Gianluca Vitellino, I’m a 31-year-old Sicilian chef based in Antwerp with over 15 years of experience in the culinary world. I began my journey in the kitchen at the age of 15, working in bars, restaurants, and catering events throughout Italy. In 2012, I graduated from hotel school as a certified cook, and shortly after, I expanded my professional career internationally.

Since moving to Belgium in 2014, I’ve held key roles in several respected restaurants, including Sous Chef positions at Gist and Renaissance, and a culinary leadership role at Civiltà del Bere, a well-known Italian restaurant and pizzeria. My style combines traditional Italian cooking with modern techniques and a passion for seasonal, high-quality ingredients.

In 2024, I took my experience a step further by founding Belìa, a Belgian craft beer brand brewed with 100% natural ingredients and fresh Sicilian fruit. It reflects my deep commitment to authenticity, flavor, and innovation—values that I also bring to my private chef services.

As a private chef, I offer personalized culinary experiences rooted in Mediterranean tradition and tailored to each client's preferences.
