I am only 19 which puts me at a great disadvantage compared to all the chefs who have 15+ years of culinary experience, though I'd argue 4 is about when I first made myself scrambled eggs, and since then the kitchen has been my happy place learning about food is my biggest passion, which naturally made me a very good cook. I am currently an au pair where part of my job is cooking for the family and every day it's a joy to see the huge smiles on their faces and hear how good the food is. my current hosts wish I had as much passion for the childcare part of the job as I do for the cooking, which has made me realise I would love to pursue exactly that, cooking.
