I am a private chef who works in the Manuel Antonio area of Costa Rica. I developed my palate and sharpened my skills cooking my way around the US, Caribbean Islands, Central America and South America. Founded in 2011, Spice Of Life is the manifestation of my desire to cook from the heart using local ingredients, indigenous techniques and flavor combinations, and the nutritional/medicinal properties of food.

I am available for private in-home dinners, weddings, yoga retreats, cooking classes, business consultations and personal menu planning.

Our experience with chef Paige was amazing! I have no clue how she managed to prep and present such an exquisite meal in an Airbnb she was unfamiliar with- she even brought fresh flowers. Everything was fresh and delicious! She also suggested wine pairing for every course. Highly recommend! Ps- the next day we took her recommendation and visited her fish monger for our our seafood cook out. Thank you Paige for an amazing meal!

We were a group of 8 adults celebrating a birthday in Dominical, Costa Rica. We visited in July, though it is considered rainy season, we were lucky that it only rained once throughout our entire vacation. We lost power the day it rained; unfortunately, that was the day we were expecting Chef Paige's services. Chef Paige was punctual in her arrival and promptly responded in communications leading up to the day. Being without power did not stop Chef Paige from creating a delicious and memorable menu for us. As a local, she was prepared for rainy seasons nuisances and had a head-light readily available and got to cooking using the grill we had outside. Each curated dish was full of flavor, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. She is an exceptionally talented chef and given the circumstances presented, she exceeded our expectations. If you're pondering chef's to choose from and are just lucky enough to have her bid - do yourself a favor and save the comparison - choose Chef Paige!

Chef Paige was incredible from the start! She was communicative through WhatsApp and emails. Worked with us on creating a menu that helped for those that had food allergies. And when she arrived, she even looked out for us by suggesting we get ice for the drinks she poured. She was punctual, attentive and effortless! A true gem in Quepos!
