Get to know me better

After working as a humanitarian for many years, I'm returning to my first love, cooking and trying to bring a little happiness through it.

My name is Cyprien Gaschignard, and I have been working as a private chef for more than two years. I am passionate about French bistronomic cuisine, where I developed my culinary culture, which I enjoy enhancing with touches of Japanese influence.

After studying at Sciences Po, I worked in the humanitarian sector in countries such as Haiti, Madagascar, Chad, and the Central African Republic. However, for the past few years, I have returned to my first passion: cooking.

Today, I work in a bistronomic restaurant in Paris’s 18th arrondissement, where I continue to refine my technique and develop my culinary sensitivity every day.

Alongside this, I also work as a private chef. I design gastronomic dinners, tailor-made menus, and cooking workshops for families or groups of friends, always adapted to your preferences. Trained in both culinary arts and oenology, I offer refined and welcoming experiences: private dining, food and wine pairings, full table service, or ready-to-enjoy meals. Every detail is carefully planned so that you can fully enjoy your guests and experience a unique and personalized culinary moment.

More about me

For me, cooking is...

Above all a time for sharing. The vast majority of my fond memories are around the table. As a French, cooking has a very important place in my life.

I learned to cook at...

With my mother, then later through the CAP, on my own and then in the restaurant where I work.

A cooking secret...

There's no secret to it, just a lot of hard work, rehearsals and watching programmes... But also imagination and not being afraid to try.
